Secluded in the rolling countryside in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, this cosy cottage is the perfect getaway for keen hikers and ramblers. With so many excellent trails and paths right on your doorstep, it will be hard to decide which to venture down first. Explore the waterfalls and woods at Coed y Brenin Forest Park (a thirteen-minute drive away), enjoy a long climb up Cader Idris (twelve minutes by car) or make the hour drive and conquer Snowdon itself. No matter what you get up to, we know you’ll love coming back to this warm and welcoming home. Built with traditional Welsh stone and slate, it's a comfortable and cosy hideaway surrounded by tranquil farmland and picturesque views. After a long hike, kick off your boots and relax by the wood burner with your favourite show playing on the flat screen and a glass of wine in hand. When you grow peckish, rustle up a hearty meal in the country-style kitchen to enjoy around the large dining table – or, if the sun is shining, take your dinner and drinks outside and admire the scenic views. Not up for cooking? Head down to the local taverns in Dolgellau – a five-minute drive – and treat yourself to a pint and a tasty plate of pub grub.
